Our History
L&S Electric, Inc. began in 1983 with the merger of two companies founded in the 1930s; Leverance Electric and Snapp Electric. Since this merger, L&S Electric has demonstrated a consistent growth rate in employment and revenue. L&S Electric remains privately owned, financially solid, and debt free while maintaining a highly rated Dun & Bradstreet rating.
The corporation has multiple locations throughout the United States with approximately 300 employees. Each of our corporate divisions offers complementary services, including Engineering, Rotating Apparatus Repair, Power Services, Reliability Services and New Equipment Sales. The Engineering Division is focused on providing control solutions for the Hydro Electrical market.
Our growing client base is worldwide and includes businesses involved with power generation, pulp and paper production, paper converting, mining, agriculture and food processing, rail and water transportation, iron foundries, and industrial manufacturing.
L&S Electric’s mission is to develop partnerships with our customers by providing them with quality products, unparallel service, and optimum value. As a result of successful partnerships, L&S Electric’s Engineering Division expanded its capacity in 2007, adding 18,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing area to the preexisting 30,000 sq ft. to meet hydroelectric customer needs.
